Recognise crisis situations in the workplace and how you can effectively respond.

This is an online training course that meets the NHS Conflict Resolution Requirements.

The training expands awareness of workplace violence and the behaviours that cause it, helping to unify staff. It teaches individuals to recognise potential crisis situations and the protocols they should implement to properly address these situations. It gives staff practical solutions that help build confidence.

 

Who is the training for?

Staff and volunteers working within the acute, community, social care and primary care setting.

Patient focussed non-clinical staff e.g. face to face or telephone contact with patients/clients, preceptees/newly qualified staff, registered professionals, health care support workers.

This is a one-hour online course.

Please contact your organisation’s Education or Training lead to book onto the course.  Your organisation’s Training Lead will collate an expression of interest list and pass it to the Crisis Prevention organisation.

Who is the training for?

Eating disorders – Mind Norfolk and Waveney

This course will develop:

■ Understanding the most diagnosed types (anorexia, bulimia and binge eating)
■ How to recognise signs and symptoms
■ Statistics and impact
■ How to support recovery & understand lifestyle.
■ How to have a meaningful and supportive conversation including helpful and unhelpful language and behaviour.
■ Signposting and further support

Staff working in health & social care and wider public services, who have regular and intense contact with people who have eating disorders
