Our People Plan
The #WeCareTogether People Plan is our five year workforce strategy which describes how we will ensure Norfolk & Waveney is the best place to work in Health and Social Care.
We will introduce the skill mix required for new models of care, reduce vacancies, plan for retirements, create new roles and work collaboratively with education providers. Our focus will be a Grow Your Own approach to deliver flexible career pathways.
Promoting Good Health
Our emphasis will be investing, promoting and implementing accessible health & wellbeing programmes, listen to people’s experiences and expand coaching and mentoring across our organisations.
This involves developing and implementing new roles across the system, enabling people to work to the top of their license and registration
To do this we will:
- Build new approaches to supervision, training, mentoring and coaching
- Adopt new technology
- Design new career pathways
- Create new quality improvement initiatives
Creating a Positive Culture
A N&W system culture that is positive, inclusive and engaging for all our people is a must in making the #WeCareTogether People Plan a reality. This requires collaborative, diverse and compassionate leadership. We will implement systemwide forums, agree workforce principles and develop a system approach to inclusion, equality and diversity.
