Tell us a bit about your role and how long you’ve worked for the NHS?

I’ve been in the NHS for nearly 4 years and I’m currently a Divisional Project Manager. My overall responsibility is  to deliver changes and projects that help make the day-to-day processes better, which helps our teams deliver great patient care.

The role of the Careers Champion is to listen and understand your journey; where you are now and where you’d like to be. We are here to help you work out your next steps and when you will take them.

What excites you about being a Careers Champion?
I’m extremely passionate about people development and I’m excited about the prospect of being able to help and support people to work out a plan for their next step, whether that’s within their current role or into a new role.

How do you think your experience will help support fellow colleagues?

I have experience across multiple organisations, both within the public and private sector. I enjoy coaching, mentoring and supporting people with their development journeys and have undertaken this with individuals, throughout my career.

Since joining the NHS, I’ve become a Healthcare Leadership Model 360° Feedback Facilitator, supporting those wishing to further both their career and self-development.
